Sunset Meet #4 Schedule of Events

HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i women's track and field team will make its final tune-up before the Western Athletic Conference Championships by hosting the Sunset Meet #4, the sixth and final meet of its Sunset Series, Friday May 8 and Saturday, May 9 at the Clarence T.C. Ching Field.
 

Entry fees are $2.00 per event.

 

On Friday, competition begins at 3:00 p.m. with the throwing events while on Saturday, field events commence at 2:00 p.m. followed by the track events at 4:00 p.m. All events will be held at Ching Field and the adjacent grass practice field.

 

The Rainbow Wahine have hosted six all-comer Sunset Series meets throughout the indoor and outdoor track seasons. The Sunset Meet #4 is the third and final competition during the outdoor season. The Sunset Series is designed to prepare the Rainbow Wahine for their mainland meets and also provide local high school and open athletes a forum for competition.

 

All athletes interested in competing must contact the UH track office for more information about the meet. Results will be posted on HawaiiAthletics.com by Monday afternoon.
