COLLEGE STATION, Texas – University of Hawai`i junior diver Emma Friesen finished 13th on the 3-meter at the NCAA Championships on Friday afternoon in College Station, Texas. Friesen placed third on the 1-meter final the previous day at the championships.

 

Friesen just missed qualifying for the 3-meter final, placing 10^th, moving into the consolation final. Friesen scored 306.30 points, good enough for 13^th in the consolation final.

 

On the first day of the championships, Friesen placed third in the 1-meter final. Friesen won the 1-meter last year.

 

Christina Loukas of Indiana won the 3-meter with a score of 365.75. Abby Johnston of Duke finished second and Shelby Cullinan of Texas finished third.

 

The NCAA Championships are being held on the campus of Texas A&M.
