COLLEGE STATION, Texas – University of Hawai`i junior diver
Emma Friesen finished 13th on the 3-meter at the NCAA Championships on Friday afternoon in College Station, Texas. Friesen placed third on the 1-meter final the previous day at the championships.
Friesen just missed qualifying for the 3-meter final, placing 10th, moving into the consolation final. Friesen scored 306.30 points, good enough for 13th in the consolation final.
On the first day of the championships, Friesen placed third in the 1-meter final. Friesen won the 1-meter last year.
Christina Loukas of Indiana won the 3-meter with a score of 365.75. Abby Johnston of Duke finished second and Shelby Cullinan of Texas finished third.
The NCAA Championships are being held on the campus of Texas A&M.
