Friesen Finishes In Third Place On 1-Meter At NCAA Championships

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – University of Hawai`i junior diver Emma Friesen took home third place on the 1-meter at the NCAA Championships on Thursday afternoon in College Station, Texas.
 
Friesen was the defending champion on the 1-meter, and finished with a score of 331.35 on Thursday, good enough for third place. Friesen was in third place following the preliminaries earlier in the day.
 
Friesen finished behind Anastasia Pozdniakova, from the University of Houston, who won with a score of 351.15, and Christina Loukas of Indiana, who had a score of 339.80.
 
The junior from Canada will compete in the 3-meter championships on Friday in College Station, Texas. The NCAA Championships are being held on the campus of Texas A&M.
