Day 4 Results
HOUSTON – The University of Hawai`i men's swimming and diving team finished in second place Saturday at the Conference USA Championships held at the CRWC Natatorium in Houston, Texas.
The Rainbow Warriors finished in second place for the third straight year. SMU scored 921 points, followed by UH with 769 points, while East Carolina claimed third with 542. North Dakota took fourth place with 442 points and Cal State Bakersfield finished fifth with 421.
On the final day of events,
Lazar Bogdanovski finished second in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:47.87.
In the 100-yard freestyle,
Davis Kane finished second in a time of 44.55, while
Sean Reilly finished fourth and Horativ Anastasescu finished fifth.
Senior
Nicola Xella was his second event of the championships, taking home the 200-yard breaststroke title, finishing in a time of 2:00.26.
In the platform final, Doulas Cohen and
Thomas Rugg finished in second and third, respectively. Cohen finished second with a score of 299.45 and Rugg finished third with a score of 262.75.
