LOS ANGELES – The University of Hawai'i men's and women's diving teams completed the first round of competition at the Trojan Diving Invitational, hosted by USC on Friday in Los Angeles.
UH's
Hannah Bocksnick finished second in the 3-meter final with a score of 322.65, the Rainbow Wahine's top finish of the day. Rounding out the 3-meter final was
Stephanie De Lima, who finished fourth with a score of 287.20 and
Daniella Nero finished seventh with a score of 252.85.
The invitational features divers from USC, UCLA, Stanford, California and UH.
The men were represented by
Douglas Cohen, who finished third in the 1-meter final with a score of 304.20.
Thomas Rugg finished eighth with a score of 242.35.
De Lima had a third place finish in the platform final, posting a score of 224.90. Cohen finished fourth in the platform final with a score of 307.70 and Rugg finished sixth with a score of 255.65.
The invitational concludes Saturday morning, with the women's 1-meter final and the men's 3-meter final.
