Warrior Golf To Compete In The Prestige PGA West

Tournament Notes

The University of Hawai'i men's golf team continues their fall season by competing in the Prestige at PGA West, Oct. 11 through 13, in La Quinta, Calif.

The Warriors will compete in the 13-team field along with hosts UC Davis and Stanford, Central Florida, UCLA, Long Beach State, Notre Dame, Pepperdine, San Diego, USC, Texas Christian,  Vanderbilt,  and Washington. Stanford will have two teams participating in the tournament.

Golfers will be playing on the Stadium Course at PGA West, a par-72, 7,206-yard course which includes the world famous “Alcatraz,” a par-3 island hole. The tournament consists of 54 holes; 18 holes will be played each day.

This marks the first time UH will compete at the Prestige. TCU, Stanford, UCLA, and Washington are among the teams that have won the tournament's team title in the last ten years, with TCU as the defending champion.
