Tadaki Victorious On Final Day of Rainbow Wahine Invitational

HONOLULU - The Rainbow Wahine Invitational wrapped up on Saturday with three University of Hawai'i women's tennis players in action at the UH Tennis Complex.
 
A total of six singles matches were completed on Saturday in the three-team field, which included Texas State, Hawai'i Pacific and host Hawai'i. Freshman Mari Tadaki picked up UH's lone win of the day when she defeated Amanda Alvarado of Texas State, 6-0, 6-3. Tadaki finished with a team-best 2-1 singles record during the invitational. Meanwhile, sophomore Alyssa Nafarrete found herself in battle with Texas State's Melissa Hadad, before eventually falling, 6-4, 7-5. Sophomore Dasha Lagmay also dropped her singles match, 6-0, 6-0, to Mariana Perez of Texas State.
 
Next up for the Rainbow Wahine is the ITA Southwest Regionals in San Diego, Calif., Oct. 22-26.
