Rainbow Wahine Finish Seventh At USF Intersectional

TAMPA, Fla. - The University of Hawai`i Rainbow Wahine sailing team finished in seventh place at the South Florida Intersectional, Feb. 16-17. No. 3 Stanford, one of four nationally ranked squads in the nine-team field, won the regatta with 42 points.

A total of 20 races, 10 each in both A and B divisions, were completed over the course of the two-day regatta. UH finished with 124 points, 82 points off the pace. Becky Mabardy led the Rainbow Wahine in the A division as skipper, Hannah Tuson-Turner skippered the B division and Darla Baldwinand Danielle Hull served as crew.

Next up for the Rainbow Wahine is the St. Francis Intersectional, March 29-30, in San Francisco.
