No. 6 Hawai‘i Advances To 24th NCAA Regional, Facing No. 17 Purdue

Match Notes

BOULDER, Colo. – The No. 6 University of Hawai`i Rainbow Wahine volleyball team (30-3) advanced to the program's 24th NCAA Regional, sweeping through Belmont and No. 12 Southern California this past week. UH now heads to Ft. Collins, Colo., for the regional, where they will face No. 17 Purdue (26-8) in the regional semifinal at 5 p.m. (2 p.m. HST) on Friday, Dec. 12.
 
Also in the Ft. Collins Regional are No. 2 Stanford (28-3) and No. 11 (27-3), who will play in the other regional semifinal at 7 p.m. (4 p.m. HST).
 
Radio Coverage
ESPN 1420 (1420 AM) will broadcast the UH matches this week, live with Blaine Kauwe handling the play-by-play. The matches can also be heard over the Internet on http://espn1420am.com.

Television Coverage
ESPNU will broadcast the NCAA Regional final live. Sam Gore will do play-by-play for all matches, with Holly McPeak handling color commentary.
