SAN DIEGO, Calif. – The University of Hawaii Rainbow Wahine sailing team concluded its fall campaign with a second-place finish at the PCCSC Fall Championships held Nov. 8-9. Nationally ranked Stanford captured the 10-school regatta by a 21-point margin.
A total of 10 races in two divisions were completed during the two-day event. The UH A division squad came out strong by wining two of the regattas first three races, but would eventually finish behind Stanford with a 38-point total. The Rainbow Wahine also placed second in the B division with 31 points. UH's 69 points put them five-points ahead of thir- place USC.
The Rainbow Wahine are back in action in January when they host the Rainbow Invite, Jan. 17-18, at Keehi Lagoon.
