HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i Rainbow Wahine volleyball head coach
Dave Shoji announced the signing of Kristiana Tuaniga, a 6-2 middle out of Carson, Calif., to a national letter of intent Thursday.
Tuaniga attends Carson High School. She averaged 4.30 kills and 3.00 blocks per set during her senior season with an amazing .647 kill percentage.
“Kristiana has amazing blocking skills,” Shoji said. “She will be a legitimate division I middle hitter in time. She's relatively new to the sport and has improved rapidly during this past high school season.”
The Rainbow Wahine continue their season this Saturday, hosting Utah Valley at the Stan Sheriff Center at 7 p.m.
