Match Release
HONOLULU - The No. 9 University of Hawai'i Rainbow Wahine volleyball team returns to the Stan Sheriff Center this week, hosting San Jose State and Fresno State on Friday, Oct. 24, and Sunday, Oct. 26, respectively.
The Rainbow Wahine picked up two three-set victories on the road this past week, sweeping Utah State and Nevada.

KFVE (Channel 5) will broadcast both matches live on KFVE. Jim Leahey will do play-by-play for all matches, with Lisa Strand-Ma'a handling color commentary. The broadcasts can also be purchased online at

Ticket Information
Tickets for the tournament are $17 in the lower level, $12 for adults (upper), $10 for senior citizens (upper), $5 for students ages 4-18 (upper), $5 for super rooter UH students (lower) and $3 for general UH students (upper). Verizon Wireless Hopeline
Fans attending the Hawaii vs. Fresno State women's volleyball game on Sunday, October 26 (5:00 pm) are urged to look around their homes for used wireless phones and accessories which will be used to help survivors of domestic violence through the Verizon Wireless HopeLineÒ program. HopeLine drop boxes will be located at the main entrance of Stan Sheriff Center from 4 to 5 p.m. Through the HopeLine program, used wireless phones, batteries and accessories from any service provider are recycled, or refurbished and sold. Verizon Wireless uses the proceeds to award grants, plus wireless phones with airtime to non-profit human services and law enforcement agencies to aid survivors of domestic violence.
