SAN FRANCISCO – The University of Hawai'i coed team finished in fourth place at the Stoney Burke Intersectional hosted by the University of California, Oct. 11-12. Sophomore

Pamela Magasinn were the stars of the weekend, claiming the B division title.
A total of 15 races were completed over two days with 24 teams, both coed and women's, competing. In the end, UC Santa Barbara (174) narrowly edged out USC (177) for the top spot, claiming the regatta by only three points. Cal Maritime finished in third place (205), a mere one point ahead of Hawai'i (206). Buckley, Baldwin and Magasinn finished with 70 points to beat Stanford by eight points and claim the B division.
Zachary Hester and
Darla Baldwin sailed to a sixth-place finish in the A division for the Rainbows with 132 total points.
The Rainbows next head to Newport Beach, Calif., to participate in the PCCSC Sloop Championships Nov. 1-2. UH won the PCCSC Sloop title last season.
