Willie Lee was the center for the Rainbow basketball teams from 1951-54, teaming with fellow Circle of Honor inductee, Fred Furukawa, to form a feared front court. Regarded by some observers as Hawai‘i’s greatest basketball player ever, he followed his UH career by touring along with the Harlem Globetrotters.
