One of Rainbow Wahine basketball’s all-time greats, Nani Cockett lettered at UH from 1993-98 and finished as the program’s second-leading scorer. She also ranked among the school’s Top 5 in scoring average, field goals, three-pointers, steals and 20-point games and was one of only two players with 1,000 points, 500 rebounds, 250 assists, and 200 steals in a career. A two-time All-WAC First Team selection, she garnered All-America honors in her senior season and helped UH to three NCAA Tournament appearances (1994, ’96, ’98). Her professional career included a stint with the WNBA’s Los Angeles Sparks.
