University of Hawai'i at Manoa Athletics

Dr. Herbert Hata was one of UH’s first volunteer team physicians. He first served during the 1940s and returned to the University in the 1970s and ‘80s before retiring in 1986. Hata is most fondly remembered as a father, psychologist and friend to many of the athletes and staff.
