Prior To UH:
Named a first team All-American by the National Junior College Athletic Association after a stellar sophomore campaign with Weatherford (Texas) College in 2007-08...led the conference in scoring with 20.7 points per game..also among the league leaders in rebounds (11.7), blocks (1.5), steals (2.7) and field goal percentage (.562)...garnered all-region honors and was also named player of the year, newcomer of the year and first team all-conference in the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference...Weatherford won the 2007-08 NTJAC championship and posted a 24-6 overall record behind its star forward...attended North Texas University in 2006-07...redshirted and did not play...played freshman season at Oklahoma State...appeared 28 contest, including four as a starter...scored in double figures four times last season, including three of the first four games..averaged 3.1 points on a .484 shooting percentage and pulled down 2.1 rebounds per game.


Prep: A 2005 graduate of Desoto High School in Texas...earned three varsity letters in basketball...one of the most heralded players in the country as a senior...touted as a Top 25 player and a four-star recruit by numerous publications... earned all-league, all-region and all-state honors as a senior,averaged 14.6 points and 7.4 rebounds in 26 regular-season contests...led DeSoto to the Class 5A state finals as the team finished with a 37-4 record...named  district MVP after leading his team to a perfect 14-0 district record...named the tournament MVP at the DISD/Coca-Cola Invitational...competed in several tournaments during the summer of 2004...was ranked as the second-best wing forward at the NBA Players Association Top 100 Camp in Richmond, Va., leading all campers in scoring at that elite event...averaged 16 points and nine rebounds per game his junior year
